Alexis Lafreniere leveled the score in the second period, but Vegas would take the lead going into the third period thanks to another goal from Jack Eichel. Mika Zibanejad's power play goal in the third quarter knotted the score. K'Andre Miller and Artemi Panarin would later score goals for the Rangers to win 4–2. Jonathan Quick stopped 34 of 36 shots in the victory, earning him his 400th game.

The Bruins' top line is anchored by David Pastrnak, with Morgan Geekie and Pavel Zacha joining him.  This season, Pastrnak leads the club in points, goals, and assists.

He had 27 goals and 38 assists going into the match, for a total of 65 points. In addition, he has nine assists and six goals on the power play. Edmonton Oilers vs Chicago Blackhawks Preview, What to Watch

In their matchup with the Chicago Blackhawks, the Edmonton Oilers will travel. Now is the time to continue our NHL odds series with a choice and prediction for the Oilers vs. Blackhawks.

The Oilers are in first position in the Pacific Division with a 32-16-4 record going into Tuesday night. Their six-game home stand came to an end on Tuesday night after they had dropped two straight games. Nevertheless, the Oilers rank among the top clubs in this year's NHL power rankings. The Oilers will travel to Chicago after playing the St. Louis Blues on the road on Tuesday night.

The Blackhawks, meanwhile, are in last place in the Central Division with a record of 16-31-5 for the season. The Blackhawks may trade assets at the trade deadline as a result of this.

The Blackhawks played the Florida Panthers in their most recent game. Seven seconds into the game, Landon Slaggert gave the Blackhawks the lead with his second goal of the year. Nevertheless, the Panthers would take a 2-1 lead thanks to goals from Jonah Gadjovich and Sam Reinhart during the period. In order to win the game 5-1, the Panthers added a goal in the second period and two more in the third.

From the front line, the Oilers are led this season by Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid. With 36 goals and 41 assists, or 77 points, Draisaitl leads the team in both goals and points this season.

This season, he has also scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists on the power play. McDavid, meanwhile, leads the club in assists this season with 21 goals and 46 assists. In addition, he has 14 assists and seven goals on the power play.

In the meanwhile, the Oilers' second line is led by Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. With 15 goals and 18 assists so far this season, he is third on the squad in terms of points. Zach Hyman joins him on the second line. Hyman ranks fifth in points and third in goals on the team. This season, he has 18 goals and 13 assists, totaling 31 points. Last but not least, Evan Bouchard ranks third on the club in points with nine goals and 31 assists.

Calvin Pickard will be in goal for this one because Stuart Skinner is anticipated to be there on Tuesday night. Pickard has a 2.47 goals-against average, a.901 save percentage, and a 13-4-0 record this season. In each of his last five starts, he has won and allowed three goals or fewer.

In this one, the Oilers will anticipate shooting at Petr Mrazek. Mrazek has a 3.32 goals-against average, a.895 save percentage, and a 9-18-2 record for the season. In his last five starts, he has a 1-3-1 record and has let up three goals or more in each of those five games.

This season, he has also contributed 14 assists and six goals on the power play. Ryan Donato joins him on the top line. In terms of points this season, Donato ranks third on the team. Montreal Canadiens vs Los Angeles Kings Preview, What to Watch

On the second night of their back-to-back, the Los Angeles Kings will host the Montreal Canadiens. The Canadiens are currently traveling the West Coast in the hopes that the team spirit would help them improve their situation. Prior to their game against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night, Montreal had dropped five straight games. As a result of their losing run, the Canadiens fell to sixth place in the Atlantic Division. In the Pacific Division, the Kings are currently ranked third. The Kings have defeated the Canadiens six times in a row; Montreal's most recent victory occurred during the 2019–20 season, just before the Covid-19 break. We're going to continue our NHL odds series with a choice and prediction for the Canadiens vs. Kings.

Prior to Tuesday night's game against the San Jose Sharks, the Canadiens had dropped five straight games. Montreal, which had positioned itself to contend for a postseason berth, has had a terrible couple of weeks. Their current losing run, however, has dropped them in the rankings and appears to have undone all of the progress they had made during the race. The Canadiens have had some tough times lately, but remember that from November 10 to January 21, they had the third-best winning percentage. It might be just what the Canadiens need to begin another winning run if they can get back on track against the Sharks, who are currently in last place.

It will be Jakub Dobes' goal on Wednesday since Sam Montembeault will start in goal for the Canadiens on Tuesday night. The Kings' backup goalie may seem like a good thing to those who aren't familiar with the Canadiens, but Dobes has been the better netminder. Since making his Canadiens debut, Dobes has a 2.10 goals-against average, a.927 save percentage, and a 5-1-1 record.

The Kings' recent slide down the standings has been caused by a schedule that pits them against the Tampa Bay Lightning, who are only one point off of a wild-card slot, and four Eastern Conference teams that are currently in the running for a postseason berth.

Los Angeles has only triumphed twice in their last eight games, but both victories over the Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes were noteworthy. Given that the Canadiens are the worst club the Kings have faced in the last two weeks, this game might be a decent starting point for them to resolve their problems and hold onto their divisional position.

Darcy Kuemper and David Rittich combined for a 2.60 goals-against average and a.908 save percentage over their last five games, indicating that the Kings' recent problems have not been with their goalies. Kuemper and Rittich will be more than capable of guiding the squad to victories if Los Angeles can resolve their scoring problems.
